The Bodu River Cultural Center integrates the functions of the Xinwu District Cultural Center and the Xinwu District Library. It has an art exhibition hall, a multi-functional hall, a small theater, multiple art training classrooms, and a library with a collection of 150,000 books. It mainly undertakes public cultural service functions such as public welfare training, exhibitions, lectures, and reading promotion. The architectural design of Bodu River Cultural Center is unique. The plan draws on the aesthetic image of "thin, leaky, wrinkled and transparent" Taihu stone, and organically connects the double-layer verandah, fitness trail and terrace garden through a garden-style folding line layout. The overall shape is modern and agile, like a flying phoenix spreading its wings, blending harmoniously with the surrounding natural landscape of the Bodu River.
